Honda civic ek4 1.8DOHC vtec conversion in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex for sale
This is my Honda civic ek4 conversion. i have had this car for 3 years and will be sad to see it go. it started as a 1.4 tropica but has had a lot done to it since then. the shell itself has done 181,000 miles but the engine has only done 147,000 so don't let that put you off. The engine was rebuilt when i did the conversion with new head gasket, piston rings, con rod bearings, valve stem seals,water pump and gasket, timing belt, tensioner and all new gaskets and seals. I also replaced the head studs with genuine OEM replacements.The engine itself is a b18c4 block with a b16a2 import head and gearbox. The gearbox was rebuilt with new synchros and a new 3rd gear. The engine and box have only done just over 17000 since all this work was done and they run perfectly. While the block was apart a exedy reinforced clutch and lightened flywheel were also fitted. The body work is good for its age with only the usual wear for a car of this age. it has just come out the body shop where it had the wheels refurbed and painted along with the spoiler and front bumper. List of modifications Engine: B16c4 block with B16a2 head and box (pushing around 200bhp) Htune Ecu chipped and mapped with launch control exedy reinforced clutch lightened flywheel from dc2 type r all new engine mounts custom cold air intake skunk 2 megapower exhaust with de-cat Interior: s2k red leather (slight wear on drivers bolsters) type r red matts type r door cards Mugen wheel Pioneer stereo with USB Exterior: AP coilovers (fully adjustable) type r front lip license plate relocation Genuine spoon carbon mirrors and spoiler BMW E30 wheels 182mm big brake conversion on the front Along with all these modifications the car has recently had new brake lines fitted, new battery, new thermostat and switch and had an oil and filter change 2000 miles ago. Bad bits Small areas of rust on the rear arches and a very small dent on drivers door. passenger side door hinge could do with replacing as starting to squeak. small scuff on front license plate. As i said i will be sad to see it go but as i am now commuting further to work it just isn't practical anymore.
